Jimi Hendrix by John Faralaco and Ken Voss Hardcover 12.1 x 9.1 x 0.5 inches Longmeadow Press 1992 80 pages
From the inside flap:
Jimi Hendrix is a lavishly illustrated book that documents the life and times of the legendary rock guitarist Jimi Hendrix. His songs invoke the blues and cut them with mind-expanding jams. His lyrics were inspired by the visions he saw while playing with Laughing Sam's Dick.
Jimi Hendrix met the manager of the Animals, Chas Chandler, in New York and within weeks Jimi went to London where they put together a three-man band with Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums. The Jimi Hendrix Experience was born and just as suddenly their driving psychedelic sound catapulted them onto the London music scene. When the Experience returned to the States in June of 1967 for the Monterrey Pop Festival, Jimi's reputation preceded him.
